Hi Everyone, I am a newlywed and have always loved to cook, bake, and entertain. Lately I decided to start making cakes and now I can't stop; whether its cakes, cupcakes, cake truffles, etc!! I just love everything about them... the creativity, versatility, and the love that they bring to those who eat them.

Toy Story Cake

Happy 3rd Birthday Caleb!!!
This cake was for my nephew's 3rd birthday. He is totally into Toy Story right now and just loved his birthday cake.... especially the characters - lol.
This cake was chocolate cake on the bottom tier and vanilla cake on the top two tiers. All tiers were covered with buttercream icing and I made chocolate pieces to go around the bottom tier for the fence.

And here is our Birthday Boy!  Really, 3 already???  He is growing up sooo fast.
All the kids loved Caleb's cake too :)

Peanut Butter Lovers Cake...

Happy Birthday Jason!!
Apparently we missed the peanut butter boat… My best friend’s husband (Jason) and my brother-in-law (Whit) will only eat the "Publix" brand peanut butter. They say it is the best one out there and the only way to go. Well that’s news to us!!  Thank goodness we have such wonderful people in our lives to let us know about these hidden secrets.  Lol.
Anyhow, this cake was for Jason who eats a spoonful (or a few) of peanut butter every night. It was a chocolate cake covered with peanut butter buttercream icing and fondant. Yuuuummmyy. Not only did this cake look delicious, but it smelled amazing too.

Louisville Cardinal Cupcakes

Happy Birthday Danny!
These are red velvet cupcakes with cream cheese icing topped with fondant accents.

And of course… I had to make extra for my husband since these are his favorite!!
Even though he tells me ALL the time to get the sweets out of the house…
I always know to make a few extra of whatever I am making because he always ends up asking, “Which ones are for me?”  LOL, what a nut. Thank goodness he married a baker :)

Sports Cupcakes

Happy 2nd Birthday Alex!
These cupcakes were so much fun to make.  Yes, lots of detail work was involved, but I think they turned out adorable :)

And of course, I had to make a special cupcake/cake for the birthday boy!
I was going to make a cupcake stand to put Alex's cupcake on, but then I decided why not just make this little baseball cake and put the cupcake on top!

And delicious chocolate mint & red velvet cake truffles for the adults to enjoy!
